Magic Bud is the finest blend of Indica and Sativa, which makes her into an easy to grow bud bomb. The floral and aromatic taste makes her smooth to smoke with a body relaxing effect, combined with a pleasant Sativa cerebral high. I started 1 magicbud seed using the paper towel soak method. This particular seed took a while to sprout, but after 3 days of waiting a little white tail poped. I then placed her in a 16 oz cup with promix. IMO, She vegged pretty slowly and was maybe 6 inches at 30 days. I put her into flower at 12" (7 weeks of veg time), alittle earlier then I would have wanted due to obligations. The stretch was very slight and she only became around a total of 18". In terms of feeding, she was not too picky and was able to uptake an average amount of nutes per feeding. I harvested at day 55 and yeilded close to an ounce. Although the quality of the smoke is good, the yeild was not as much as I was expecting. I would grow this strain again, but feel it was thrive more in an outdoor enviornment.

I love this plant .The first grow was in a GH Aqua Farm..with GH 3 Part nutes..yeild was a modest 4 ozs but i had problems not related to the plant so i was impresed that she finished as well as she..or even at all did.A clone from the first grow provided a much more respectable 9.5 ozs in an Igloo MDWC setup.
Veg was under 125 watt CFL and bloom under 400 watt HPS and another 125cfl to supplement.
This plant was EZ to grow and clone in a bubble cloner.It seems to love MDWC and her root mass was indeed impresive in MDWC. She wasnt picky about Ph or heat issues.
The smoke is top notch ..preferd by those who smoke it to anything else around and is very frosty and produces top notch hash and hash oil from the trim.
About 2 months veg and 50 days to finish although the clones finished faster by about a week.
She has a place in my grow from now on for sure.

I grew Magic bud both indoors and out, and found it to be easy to grow, tasty, potent, and quite stable. 100% germ rate and average clone ease.
Indoors it likes to grow squat and branchy. I grew 3' bushes, but it would be great for SCROG. It has a pretty prominent central bud, so I'd guess it would also do well in SOG. Fairly tight-noded with fat, rounded buds.
Outdoor, it gets 6-7 ft tall w/ Christmas tree form and long side branches. Needs plenty of sun and air movement. I planted one in what turned out to be sheltered, semi-shade location, and it got a little bud mold. Plants more in the open were OK. Would not recommend for moist, humid areas. Started seeds indoors in late March, put outside in early May, harvested in late September.
About 70% of my females were absolutely caked w/ resin...as much as any "white" strain. Smoke is spicy and tasty, but expands like crazy. Best in a vaporizer or bubbler.
Overall, this strain turned out better than I expected, and the pic at Paradise doesn't do her justice (looks more like the "Sugar Babe" pic). I probably won't grow Magic Bud outdoors again, as there are other strains better suited for that, but I will most likely repeat it indoors.

Grow room is a Mylar lined 6x4x8' closet. Grow area is 4'x4' (16 sq ft).
400w Hortilux HPS overhead for grow and flower. 4 table lamps w/ spiral 45 watt flourescent bulbs (21" high w/ bulbs) were added during flower and placed on the floor under and between plants. 18/6 grow, 12/12 flower. This grow was 9 plants of varied strains, 3-4.5' tall, in 3 gallon pots.
I use ProMix w/ added perlite. Final transplant into 3 gallon pots. I use various combinations of Earth Juice grow/bloom, Pure Blend grow/bloom, Liquid Karma, Cal-Mag, Thrive Alive red, and Awesome Blossoms...depending on growth stage.
I hand water about once a week w/ mid-strenghth nutes everytime.
I use a 20" box fan venting from closet to main room. I have no need for odor control.
