Breeder's Description - 'Citral'
|
Genetics for this strain come from the Hindu Kush mountain region near the village district of Chitral. Citral produces a mellow herbal taste, very good yield and hard buds. For larger yeilds, grow relatively tall before changing the photo period. The aroma from the buds is fresh, almost like fabric softener. The buzz is an interesting cerebral experience despite its Indica heritage.

I germinated 3 of 3 seeds with success producing 1 Citral female (Citral pheno) and 2 males . Flower time ran 8.5 weeks (59 days). Yield totaled 2 ounces tokers The toke is rather light with a musky lemon flavor (like Sprite), a moderate expansion level and a nice happy mellow buzz. I can only say that the breeders at Nirvana Seeds are very good at what they do and the management of Nirvana are very honest and good people for making a great product at a great price.

I have a 4 chamber grow. Germination/cloning, vegetation, flowering and breeding.
The germination/cloning chamber is hydro, the others are my soil mix.
Lighting as follows: 80w floroclone, 325w floroveg and 400w hps with 250w mh for under/side flowering.
Manually watered 1.5x daily. Feedings every other day included Humatech's Organic Advantage.
Also rotated Indo Bay Guano, Bone Meal and Blood meal about the flower room weekly.
Cloning done using light floros and H2O alone.
Grow Nirvana's Citral and you won't be disappointed that you did.
