  Breeder's Description - 'Black Widow'

A most infamous strain that since 1994 has won a number of awards, including the High Times Cannabis Cup in 1995, and has acquired acclaim from most corners of the globe - rightly so. It has a pedigree of parentage that combines a Brazilian Sativa with a South Indian hybrid. Basically, it is White Widow changing its colours like its company. It will seem evident to the cultivator that this species needs slightly more attention to achieve the expected results. Do not forget the necessary love and attention in order to get the best results. For indoor methods the grower will find that 10 weeks o ...continued

Last year I purchased 2 packs of Mr. Nice black widow remade by breeder Bluntson into F2’S from c-bay auctions, I am now on my 4th run with black widow from clone,bx1 beans I made as well as black widow f1 hybrids. The 1st pack gave me a 90% germ rate, 5 females, 4 males. I planted 3 beans in 1 gallon of soil with sand in the bottom for better drainage. I flowered those 3 very young at 7-9 inches, All 3 turned out to be female so I continued to flower those 3,they stretched like crazy, those 3 females grown together in 1 gl. of soil finshed at 2 – 2 ½ ft.,they tripled in height once flowering was started!(see pics),the other 2 females were veged a little longer in 1 gallon of soil with sand & flowered at 14-16 in.,those 2 females finished at 36-42 in., I cant say enough about this strain, it is so quick in vege and the way it stretches is a commercial SOGGER’s dream, this strain is perfect for SOG or SCROG from clone or seed, seed grown SOG these can be flowered at as little as 6-9 inches and finish at 2- 2 ½ ft. with a HUGE single main cola and tiny branches with fat sticky buds, grown SCROG these may need to be trimmed a bunch, plants veged 30 days will finish at 3 1/2 - 4 ft. or more, plants veged 45-60 may get out of control unless well trimmed, unless you have tall ceilings with room for 6-8 ft. plants.the buds are super frosty & potent.flowers in 8-10 weeks, from seed plants should be harvested no earlier then 9-10 weeks as they pack on weight & frost until week 10,once cloned flowering quickens to about 8-9 weeks, I have dozens of strains going at most times and this is one that I will keep in my garden.
