Breeder's Description - 'Cinderella C-99 F2s'
|
Carried over from the 02 collection, simply because this bud is an all time favourite. This is a FAST Sativa dominant plant that's great yielding and will produce fine resinous bud with a delicious texture. The conniseur will definitely enjoy this one.

These grew out quite nicely. I even made my own F3's from them.
I never had the original, but this stuff had me standing in my yard getting my spook on during several of our encounters. What was that?

Grow:
There were three main phenos of C99 I experienced - Trippy, middle, and euphoric. All were crystal covered to the max.
Trippy was tall, spindly, with lots of bud sites. It matured faster than the more mellow pheno (Euphoric), and had more white trics than yellow. This was above average in yields and was the easiest to grow. I got 2.5Oz from one 10 ltr soil bucket.
Euphoric was not as tall, more Xmas tree shaped, split into about 3 main colas when topped 4 times. This pheno smelt rotten compared to the other, but was still pleasant to smell, weird as it may seem. It finished in 60 days and was higher yielding. My fave smoke - as it wasn't as intense.
Smoke (Trippy pheno):
The good words being put out about Cindy are true, no mistake, every seed I grew was ultra-potent material - you cannot mistake the reputation. One to two tokes got me nicely tripped out, leaving me slightly confused & feeling europhorically high. Good for thinking about things on, I drifted off on to other things in my mind very easily.
The taste is what I'd call sweet-pine, a fruity sort of flavour with pine aftertaste. It smells the same as it tastes, the fruity element hit your nose first, followed by the pine.
Top quality stuff, worth to be in everyones grow room.

I've grown these seeds a number of times now and it has become one of my favorites. The plants seem very consistent for an F2. They are mostly Sativa, but mine usually finish under 3 feet. The stems are thin and so are the leaves, but the buds are solid and chunky. They have a somewhat lanky growth and sometimes require staking.
This is a very fast strain; mine usually finish between 50-55 days. The flavor and smell is outstanding. The bud has a tropical fruit flavor, just like it smells. Sometimes the bud has undertones that smell kind of hoppy/yeasty, like fermenting beer.
The high is incredible. This is one of the most potent strains I've ever smoked, very heady, very stony. If I could only grow one strain it would be this one, it has a permanent place in my garden.

September, 2002 |
It was my second grow of C99 (outdoors). I'm gonna mostly talk about this grow. There was no outdoor report of c99 so I decided to write this one.
The first grow was indoors, under 240 watt of fluos, it was the second time of my life I was growing, got 75 grams of 3 small plants. 9 of 10 seeds did germ. I got 4 females. I kept only 3 because of my very limited grow space. I kept my favourite one for clones .
This summer I grew outdoors (I live in Canada) using the clones of my Mum (see all the medium and feeding details below). I planted them outdoors mid-June near a lake.
They grew very well.
I had 3 problems during the summer:
1- Nitrogen deficiency: solved by fish emulsion (twice, half-strength dose).
2- Got some branches that broke under the weight of the buds (so I tied them).
3- Got mold problems, so I had to harvest them a week before they should have been (I was growing near a lake, so it was a very humid environment).
I harvested 13 ounces of my 5 plants; top quality smoke, better than most of the weed I've smoked in Amsterdam. The plants smell so good, and the cured buds kept that pineapple smell and were really potent, even too potent for some of my friends (but perfect for me !). The buds are frosty. And when I say frosty, I mean like after a snow storm, every one of my friend was impressed and I heard maybe 50 times ' Wow! these are the frostiest buds I have ever seen of my whole life! ' That combined with the pineapple smell made this strain the favourite smoke of all of my pothead friends!
The buzz is really heady; this is DAY smoke. Really gets me active, good for working in or around the house. You think so fast, good for imagination, phylosophy and personnal reflection. Really gets my brain working. Things get clear; it's strange, you are so stoned, but you are still very functionnal. It got one of my friend a bit paranoid. I was unable to sleep for 2 hours after I smoked a joint
In conclusion I would recommend this strain to anybody who would like something different than heavy Indicas and who cannot afford the 12 week flowering time of most Sativas. It is my favourite strain and it did a really decent job outdoors but could have been even better if I wasn't in Canada, but still worth the try in northern countries! (and anywhere else too!!!)

Vegged for 1 month indoors in soil under 120 watt of fluos, fed twice with 20-20-20, than planted outdoors mid June, in a mix of black soil, sheep manure ,compost, mycorise, and Eco-grow, fed one more time with Eco-grow.
Flowering: I started feeding in the begginning of August, with Eco Bloom 4 times. Also gave them fish emulsion twice because of a nitrogen deficiency.

C99 was a dream to grow and never showed signs of stress. This was my first time growing c99 and it impressed me beyond belief. There were a few different phenos and were all special in their own unique ways. The buds were either rock hard mini colas or long semi dense colas that were very long. Cindy is a real looker but her true glory lies in her high which is nothing short of mind boggling. It is a crystal clear Sativa high that sends you to the heavens and back without too much of a burnout and without any couch lock. There were so many days when I would smoke c99 and I just couldn't sit still. Another thing I like about the buzz is the paranoia... Brings back the novice days of smoking.
Note: The top picture of JLP's report is a very nice pheno. Smells of pineapple and the high is spectacular

Seven c99 f2's were germinated (after a 24 hr soak), in 1 gallon
pots, with Bio-Bizz Allmix, they all came up successfully. During the vegetative stage the plants grew vigorously and with short internodes, they looked pretty Indica dominant apart from the distinctive, thin & serrated sativa-like leaves. These plants seemed a little sensitive to the veg nutes, so they were fed small amounts of very diluted feed, they seemed to thrive on water and the Bio-Bizz soil alone.
These plants are very easy to sex at the preflower stage as the preflowers were massive, leading to no uncertainty that I had 3 females.
Once repotted into their final 3 gallon containers & switched to 12/12, these ladies started to stretch quite a bit.
The flowering was fast (58 days approx.) and the buds dense and sticky. Half way through flowering the branches had to be staked out due to the heavy buds on relatively thin stalks. When I grow these again I'm going to top them and concentrate on some heavy training - I'm sure this will improve the yield by allowing better light penetration.
The Cindy?s smelled of pineapple/fruit punch. During flowering these plants seemed to lap up the nutes and there were no problems with over fertilization.
After curing for a couple of months the Cinderella 99 is a great daytime smoke, up, racy, and a touch of paranoia wrapped in some of the most unique tasting buds I've ever smoked.

My grow area is approx 6' x 10'.
It was lit in veg by one 600w Planta T sodium light and in flower a 400w sodium was added
Ventilation is provided by 2 x 4" RVK inline flans, one for intake & one to expell through a carbon filter.
The medium used was Bio-Bizz Allmix.
The feeding schedule throughout growth started at about week 4. House & Garden (nl) Compo & Epsom salts were administered every other feed, in very diluted doses (in between I used plain tap water).
In flower I continued to use the 'compo' for 2 weeks, then started to use bio-flower from House & Garden (nl)
The plants were flushed 10 days before harvest.

We put 15 seeds to sprout and 14 hatched. Out of those 7 turned out to be female. None problems whatsoever during veg or flowering. These had the ease that everyone says NL has. We topped/FIM'ed all plants at 4 or 5th node, and got some really bushy plants. The fan leaves were big and had slim "fingers" which gave good light penetration. We vegged the Cindy’s for approx. 6 weeks before we put them on 12/12. The stretch was not too bad, they all ended up at between 3-4 feet in height witch is really good for a sativa dom. strain like this. The smell set in at approx. week 4 of flowering, when a sweet fruity odor hit you in the face when you opened the grow room door.
Out of the 7 females we got 2 distinguished phenotypes.
Phenotype one : Was trichome covered as a mountain peak and showed its sativa traits by a little longer stretch. This phenotype needed a week more than the other phenotype to finish. The smell was really sweet and fruity, taste was kind of similar to Juicy Fruit, but only fruitier. The high was really intense in the head, really trippy and almost paranoid high. Head rush to the max. Don't try to focus on one thing, you won’t be able. This is a winner among wake & bake strains, my favorite daytime smoke. This phenotype yielded a little less than the other pheno, but that was evened out by its trichome production and intense high.
Phenotype two : Wasn’t quite as trichome covered as pheno one, but still looked like a snowstorm hit it. This was also really sweet and fruity, but more sugar sweet than the first. This pheno was a little more Indica dom. than the first. The high was a little less intense, witch is nice for a change, and took a little more on the body. It was actually possible to take a nap after a joint of this pheno without lying there thinking about all and everything. This pheno had good bud density and yielded more than the first.

I grew out 5 GN03 C99 seeds and got 2 females. Both were almost identical except 1 yielded heavier so I kept her as a mother and I'm very pleased with her.
She is a very special girl that flowers pretty fast and finishes in about 8 weeks. The trichome development starts early in flowering and when finished she is completely covered in snow. She has a very pleasant sweet tropical fruit smell to her that is just amazing. This strain really branches out and takes up space and has somewhat of a stretch to her. The branches are kinda thin and need some type of support for those heavy dense nuggz or they'd probably snap right off! She is very easy to grow and never gave me any problems!
The high is a very potent , energetic, speedy, head high that lasts pretty long! It's a very good daytime smoke and you can get a lot accomplished while high on Cindy. Didn't get me paranoid at all like some people say about her, But if you smoke too much of her you will definately feel confused and disorientated!!!
If you're thinking about getting some of these GN C99 F2's then don't hesitate. Everything about this strain is top quality. She smells good, tastes good, She's potent, has great bag appeal and is easy to grow! What more can you ask for in a strain? Grow some C99, I highly recommend it!

I originally grew the GN03-C99 seeds a couple cycles back and have since cloned the two best plants from the first seed run. I had started 5 seeds and ended up with 3 females.
One of the plants just never took off, clones were kept from the other two. One of these was a very fast finisher (42 days) but light yeild (1.5oz), popcorn style, still top notch smoke for sure though. The other took an extra week to finish (49 days) but yielded much better (3.5oz).
I've completed two clone runs since the seed run and the only differences I can comment on are: 1) potency seems to increase slightly, or my tolerance is going down, right... 2) the plants stay more compact when flowered from clone (obvious I know).
For this latest run, the clones were veg'd in an aero-9 machine for about 6 weeks and topped multiple times to form nice compact bushes. I used Pure Blend Pro Veg and CalMag+ at 500-800ppm.
Flowering started as the plants were about 1' cubed in size. PBP Flower formula and Calmag+ were used at 800ppm for the first weeks.
At ~25days the stretch stopped (plants ~3' high), PBP soil formula and Fox Farm's Big Bloom were used from here on out.
Started backing off nutrients in the 5th week.
Fast pheno was harvested at the end of the 6th week (42 days).
The other was harvested at the end of the 7th week (49 days).
They dried for a week and have now been curing for ~3 weeks.
Smoke Report:
Pheno#1: fast pheno, harvested with ~50% amber trichs.
The smell and taste is amazing, hard to describe but certainly fruity and expansive. This pheno is not as heady as the other but a bit of hit to the head is there. It has some narcotic effect as well and very little body effect. A good mixed high but lacking yield.
Pheno#2: harvested with ~30% amber trichs.
Again the smell and taste is amazing, very fruity and a bit to the lemon side but not as much as say apollo-11. All in the head on this pheno, great daytime weed. It's a bit racy if I smoke too much though, which I usually do, who's that! who's there!?!
(**First two pictures Pheno#1, others Pheno#2)
Last pic is kif made from the trim, using wwwshroom's auto-kiffer method (vibrator attached to silk screen frame, shake and bake).

I germinated 6 got 5 beautiful girls. It was my first true grow, and they did great showing no problems threw out the entire grow even with temps getting up to high eighties low nineties.
I vegged them under 24hr/light 4-5 weeks and flowered them for 55-60 days under the SuperSun 400 HPS.
The stone is a very up, happy, and social high. I could laugh myself silly for hours chatting with friends on this bud. I usually enjoy the knockout couch lock bud, but this is one of the most fruity smelling, good tasting up, and energetic stone.
I love this strain!

First she is probably the most forgiving strain I have experienced, veg, clone didn't matter w/ her. I used a 400mh for approx 25 days of veg.Flowering took approx 55 days, w/ samples being taken @ 45 .the taste & high are very similiar to Apollo , W/ Cindy being a little more giddy like in the buzz. Hit her a few too many & you must shutdown for a while to revitalize, but as soon as your concience, she's glad to make your head feel light again . I fed her w/ 100% organics ... which in a Hydro system is not the most pleasent way to do things.
But even if not all nutes can be leached, there is never really any problem burning/or curing .Earth Juice is primarily used throughout.

13 out 15 seeds Germinated. Of these, 7 females 6 males. Grew out 5 of the females due to space restrictions. 2 different phenotypes were observed. A very tall and lanky, low feeding, sativa pheno. It was not topped and produced a massive main cola but little popcorn buds everywhere else. They were also the earliest to finish at 48 days. The other phenotype was a much more squat plant, with broader leaves, and used more fertilizer, it also took the longest at 53 days. But it produced fat buds all over the plant. I would select this as a mother.
Go easy on the fertilizer. She is a light feeder.
Cindy shows her sex after about 4-5 weeks in veg. It isn't neccessary to flower just to find out the sex. Buds develop rapidly, especially, during weeks 2-5, where massive growth can be observed. The flowers start swelling around week 6-7.
I think Cindy should be harvested just when the trichomes begin to change from cloudy to amber. I have picked samples at day, 44, 50, 53, and let 1 clone goto day 60. The best smoke was from day 50 and 53.

Room space was a 4 foot x 8 foot, with a 3ft x 4ft garden. 400w MH, 400wHPS, bloomed and vegged under both for duration of grow. Co2 system, sealed room, dehumidifier, A/C. Used Advanced Nutrients 2+ fertilizers. Grew in a 75% coco coir, 25% hydroton. Next time, I will used 50% coco coir and 50% perlight, for better airation. Watered by hand every 3 days in a Feed/Water/Feed/water cycle.
Plants were vegged in a 3 gallon pot. For flowering, they were double potted into a 5 gallon bucket. Upon examining the roots after harvest, it appears they colonize the medium in a very effecient manner. No signs of rootbound.
