This is an upgraded strain of our valued former Afghan/Skunk. We improved the variety in 1997. The taste is softer than before and we managed to improve on yield. The Afghani (Mazar-i-Shariff) part is a very short Christmas tree-like plant, 100% Indica and very resinous. The F1-cross with Skunk #1 gives the variety a bigger yield and better taste. Very good "up" high. As both parents are very consistent, the offspring are very consistent too.

Powerful plant, one of the most potent I've grown!
Average yield of compact buds.
Strong couchlock and pleasant height.
Really good taste, make you hungry.
May be used medically.
Doesn't smell too much while flowering, and stay really short and squad : it's the perfect plant for indoor-grower (who loves indica effects).
I started to grow Mazar last year, I tasted a friend's one then I went to my growshop and I bought the seeds, regular ones...
I took 3 seeds, they germinated quickly and became 3 females later...
So, I had finally 2 different phenotypes and kept 2 mother plants (who are still alive):
- One indica, with a very few leaves.
- One more sativa leaf like , with many more leaves.
First one end to flower a bit quickly than the other, but potency and taste are almost similar.
in this report, we have 6 indica pheno + 3 "sativa".
The clones had 3 weeks of growth under fluoros, and 8 to 9 weeks flowering.
I started to use ferts at week 4, I used rippen the last week.
Buds are becoming really compact the last 2 weeks. would be patient...
I want to sat that they resist well with the insects. Last year I had a problem with white flies, I' ve lost some SuperSkunk plants, but the MAZAR were not very disturbed ...
