"This report is on the Hogs Breath pheno of T.H.Seeds the Hog"
Well here she is, the shining star of a 10 pack of HOG seeds from THSeeds. She was a 6" seedling (8" before cloned) when put in to bud. She was leaning more towards the Kush side of her gene pool (HOG = Hindu Kush X Afghani). She took about 7-10 days to show her sex and finished in 60 days at a height of 18"-20", and yielded about 1 1/4 oz (dried)of stinky, pungent, funky smelling crystalized buds. The smell reminds me of smelly armpits mixed with really bad 3 day old garlic breath with a hint of ginger. Guess that's why it's called hogs breath.
For coming from under a 250w HPS I was quite impressed with the size of the buds and the yield. Next time will be under a 400w HPS.
Time for a smoke test...
Took some fresh hits yesterday at 6am. 1st hit went down smooth but soon expanded. The taste was similar to the smell but much more enjoyable. The smell almost makes you turn your head but the taste has you licking your lips. I felt a hint of a buzz after the first hit so I took another. 2nd hit was much like the first but I took a bigger hit so it really choked me. Felt the buzz coming on strong so I quickly took a 3rd. I should have stoped at 2 but you know how it goes... Anyways the buzz is great! It starts off as a heady high and spacey and I had wonderful conversations with myself the entire ride to work, and found myself in a great mood for most of the day. The spacey feeling left after about 3 hours and was replaced with a slight couch-lock feeling. I wasn't sure if I wanted to take a nap or go eat tacos. The tacos won; lunch was GREAT!! The tacos were awesome, guacamole was fresh and the cervesas were cold. A fantastic way to end a wake-n-bake.

This report is on the legendary Hogsbreath pheno of T.H.Seeds Hog.
Hogsbreath is a legendary strain from Tennessee. Its Hindu Kush x Afghani and it was the Cannabis Cup Winner for Best Indica 2002.
The potency and yield of this strain is outstanding, I can easily see why it won the cup. It is the most potent Indica I have ever smoked and it is the all time favorite with everyone around here. I have grown many Indicas and none of them matched the potency of Hog. I recently grown T.H.Seeds MK-Ultra, the 2003 cup winner and I felt it was good but not as couchlock as Hog. Other strains I have grown like G-13 x Hash Plant, Sensi Star, Afghani, Hindu Kush, Lifesaver and many others did not match the potency of Hog. That is why I say it is outstanding.
The yield in SOG is outstanding, I get 1.8 grams per watt with it. I flower clones at 10 inches and they finish around 30 inches. I flower the clones at four per square foot and yield 5 ounces. It is the best yielding Indica I have come across so far. SOG growers will be floored with the yields.
The bad news is this strain is unstable. So I recommend growers to grow out no less then a pack of seeds to make sure you get the Hogsbreath pheno. The other phenos are good but not as good as the Hogsbreath pheno. It is well worth the effort to get this pheno.
The smoke taste like hash and the high is of narcotic quality, heavy and lethargic. The buds release and foul bad breath odor when you are cutting into them. I have many friends that love foul smelling strains and they go nuts over Hog. In fact they go crazy when I run out of it, so I would call it “green crack“. This strain is the “holy grail” for Indica lovers and commercial SOG growers alike.
I highly recommend this strain and tip my hat to Adam and the T.H.Seeds crew for bringing such an outstanding strain to market.
Keep it green.

This HOG was the best of four packs, there is a big variation of Phenotypes in each pack,
The HOG in this grow was transplanted from a 1” block into a Waterfarm and vegged for three weeks where it was flowered at a height of 2 ft and finished at 9 weeks at a height of 3 ½ ft total weight dried was 16 ½ oz. This particular Pheno put on flowers early and continued right up to the end getting denser and more heavy day by day.
After drying and curing the bud has a lovely orange/red tint and is full of chrystals the smoke is good not great, It's a very smooth smoke but nothing special, it has a nicer appearance than taste or effect. To be honest the taste was kind of lacking.

The HOG is very pleasant and enjoyable to grow, harvest and smoke. This pheno is not exactly the armpit smelling HOG I have heard about, it appears to be a cross between the stinky pheno and the fruity pheno.
I recommend this pheno for its wonderful anti-bowel inflammatory properties. I have crohns disease and IBD as well as seizures. SInce using the HOG and THSeeds OG x Burmese my symptoms have been reduced by 50%.
Initially, I recommend using a 2/3 strength fert in veg. Start off around 275ppm for newly rooted cuttings upping the strength 125 ppm per week.
After 18" in height, flower starting at 650 ppm and go up 200 ppm per week until it peeks at around 1250. It shoul finish at just under 4' tall.
