  Breeder's Description - 'Nevilles Haze'

Almost pure Haze with just a hint of Indica (Northern Lights). The most potent variety of its kind on or off the market. Not recommended for inexperienced smokers - too trippy - too profound. Indoors: should be started under 12 hours of lights but to get quality is certainly not a easy task. Indoors is not recommended for beginners. The earliest will finish in 14 weeks. Those that take much longer than this are usually discarded as not practical. Yields are average - the longer flowering time is usually compensated with extra large yields, both in and outdoors. Of sixteen females only 3 were ...continued

Originally two seeds of Neville's haze were germinated, producing two females. Since that I've been growing Neville from the cuttings of those females.

Neville seemed to receive as much nutrients as I gave. In the vegetative stage plants don't complain about the nutrient amounts, but in the blooming stage leaves drop away (yeah, usually all of them) - no matter what you do. Finally the plant consists of stems and buds only... Neville's haze prefers higher air humidity, from 60 to 80 % seems to be good.

The stature is really tall and lanky - you can't usually let Neville grow freely. Starting straight under 12/12 is a choice to restrict height, but I prefer bondage and/or using 11/13 as a blooming light. Odor isn't a big issue with this strain, it is not skunkish nor very strong.

Cuttings are a bit tougher part of growing Neville, while most of them take such a long time to root (compared to "normal plants", Neville cuttings may take even 20-30 days).

As a mostly sativa plant, Neville may seem to be "not so effective" to those with higher tolerances. Although, for "lifestyle smokers" I recommend it as an extremely nice "working weed" and for mixing with more couchlock-like indicas. Curing is a must for these buds.

Summa summarum, Neville's haze isn't very difficult to grow but it may require a lot of work especially in smaller growing cabinets. Not for unpatient growers, but after some waiting Neville rewards its grower with one of the most refined (though not easy to perceive!) aromas and effects of the cannabis world.
