Veg. Stage:
AH germination rate was 10/10 . There was a 8/9 (and one hermi) female to male ratio. Grows very fast and very healthy in veg. . Typical of Soma genetics as I have never had a problem in veg with any of his strains. AH grows very vigorous. Leaves appear indica at first, but the plant soon shows its deep sativa roots . Every Pheno was different except for 2..........One turned out to be a hermi.... and was killed instantly.......they others where split up like this:
Pheno 1: Very haze dom. plant . This one grew the tallest and lankiest. (pheno was killed do to undiserable growth traits)
Pheno 2: The only one that grew some what slower with less vigor . Still fast, but the others were like rockets. (pheno was killed do to having less vigor then they others)
Pheno 3 and 4: These where the 2 strongest . You cant tell the difference between them. These I choose as my Mothers. Both are blooming outside as we speak. (mother pheno)
(mother pheno)- This pheno was 5 weeks in veg for a nice size plant. Also very easy to make clones from.
Bloom Stage:
Hope you have some patients because your going to need them on this strain. Like I said before about Soma's strains good things come to those who wait. Well hope you got a lot of time. This is a great strain though. The smell in bloom is very unique. The yield is less then you would expect for the long wait. It yields 3-4 ounces (no co2) per 4-5 foot plant. Give this plant room because all phenos you get will need it. Grows exactly like what you would expect from a dominant haze plant. Flowers dont really even form tell 4-5 weeks. Maturation is a very slow process. If you watch it day by day it will drive you mad. Its best just to forget about it being done anytime soon. The last 7-8 weeks if bloom trichomes start to cover the buds everywhere. By week 10-11 the nugs are completely coated with trichomes. They glisten when you look at them. The calyx finally start to swell at about week 10-11 too. By week 14 they really plump up. Then finally at week 15 the plant is done.
Final Assessment:
The apperance of the bud is very dark almost golden. The nugs glisten with trichomes. The smell is very distinct very hazey with hints of the mountains and tropical fruit/pine. A very hard hitting haze straight to the head. Does not last all that long , but is still very strong. It is a great strain , but will test your patience. The yield may be a issue too, because you will have to leave it in bloom much longer then other strains. If you got the time and room its a great grow.
